Sam Okoth is voicing genuine impediment to achieving consistent positive results.
Shabana boss Sammy Okoth has made a plea to the county government of Kisii to fasten the rehabilitation of Gusii Stadium considering he feels like his team is playing all its matches away.
Shabana relocated to a temporary home, the Raila Odinga stadium in Homa Bay as the county government got down to work to renovate the Gusii Stadium, which was considered not good enough to host FKFPL matches due to the sorry state of some of its features, including the playing surface.
The Tore Bobe have been getting points on the road, but looked to struggle in front of their own fans at the Homa Bay stadium in the six matches they have played so far.

FOOTBALL Shabana official reveals the millions Tore Bobe stand to earn if they secure podium finish
Shabana have started the season poorly but can earn extra millions from their sponsor if they find form and finish among the top three in the FKF Premier League.
Speaking after his side downed Tusker 1-0, Okoth pleaded with the county government to fasten the process of rehabilitating the stadium as it will give them an edge in terms of getting more consistent positive results.
“The county Government of Kisii should work hard because we are practically playing all our games away from home,” Okoth said.
“We play all our home matches away practically. Raila Odinga is not our stadium. We are also visitors there so we cannot say it is our stadium.

FKFPL Benson Omala loses FKF Premier League Player of the Week despite Mashemeji Derby brace
The sixth round of matches saw various impressive performances among them were Brian Magare, Benson Omala, John Kiplagat, and Erick Ombija.
“The country government must work hard to improve our stadium. I think things can get better than where they are now with us if we return to our stadium.”
Shabana had recorded three draws and two defeats in their opening five games before their win over Tusker ten days ago.
Okoth’s men will also need to score more as they have been shy in front of goal, managing just four in six games, while conceding five over the same period.
Shabana will face Nairobi City Stars in their next league match at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay on October 22.
