The Kisii-based club has already started planning for the 2023/24 season, when they will compete in the FKF Premier League.

Shabana FC are planning to open branches in the United Kingdom and the United States in a bid to popularise the club after sealing the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.

According to former Football Kenya Federation boss Sam Nyamweya, the move will also help bring supporters who are outside the country closer to the club. Plans to set up an academy and a junior team are also top of the club's priorities.

"We are focused on making Shabana the best club in the country and even the East Africa region, and we already have plans to have a Shabana junior team and also set up an academy in Kisii town. It's going to be a serious matter," said Nyamweya, whose position as Shabana patron has been challenged by a section of the club hierarchy, who recently 'installed' Kisii Governor Simba Arati with the role.

"Shabana will never suffer anymore. In conjunction with Education CS Ezekiel Machogu, we will visit the USA and the UK to speak to our diaspora fraternity and urge them to come in and support the team. We want to open a USA Shabana chapter, the same as a UK Shabana chapter, and even go as far as Canada, where we have a strong fan base."

After ending the campaign in the National Super League, the club's board is expected to conduct fundraising activities meant to boost Tore Bobe financially.

"We will start meeting as soon as they play their last league match on Saturday. We have been tasked with raising Ksh100 million, and I can assure you we will hit and surpass the target. My call is to all who love Shabana to come in and support the team, morally and financially," Nyamweya added.

"We will need players to help push our clear goals, and to get such players, we will need money. To maintain the current players, they will need money, but we are hopeful everything is going to be alright.

"We have a plan, and we know where we need to go. We know what we want, and hopefully we will be on an upward trajectory from the get-go in the Premier League."
