Shabana FC's patron Sam Nyamweya urges fans for patience after a loss, highlighting hope and unity for future games.

Shabana FC patron Sam Nyamweya has called on the club's supporters to remain patient and supportive despite the team's recent string of defeats.

Following a 2-1 loss to Bandari in the FKF Premier League at Mbaraki Sports Club last weekend, Nyamweya addressed the fans who were visibly frustrated with the club's performance.

In a heartfelt plea, Nyamweya acknowledged the disappointment but urged for unity among the club supporters.

"Shabana will rise again. This afternoon (Sunday), our team performed exceptionally, though going down 2-1 against Bandari FC of Mombasa.

"The capacity crowd at Mbaraki grounds witnessed our boys exhibit improved play on the pitch, a game that also had the honor of being attended by the President of the Tanzania Football Federation, Wallace Karia," read part of his statement.

Nyamweya's words came after a distressing scene where fans blocked the team bus, demanding immediate improvement.

Recognizing their passion, he thanked the fans for their unwavering support.

"Despite the loss, we should hold our heads high for a good display. We are aware of the technical challenges, including funding, which we shall address with stakeholders," he added.

The patron's message was clear as he called upon the fans to look towards a brighter future.

"I call upon our dedicated fan base to remain hopeful. The future looks promising for the team. I extend gratitude to the coach and the technical bench for their relentless efforts in training our players. Know that you have our steadfast support," he noted.

Nyamweya's concluding remarks aimed to reassure and thank the team's followers who had travelled to Mombasa for the clash.

"Thank you. We anticipate our next match with Nzoia Sugar FC with the hope of achieving a resounding victory."

Tore Bobe have had a tough season, winning only one match, drawing four, and suffering five losses.

Shabana who parted ways with head coach Sammy Okoth currently sits at the bottom of the league standings, but hopes are pinned on the upcoming fixture against fellow strugglers Nzoia Sugar FC at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homabay.
