Shabana's Brian Michira, who was named man of the match after scoring his first goal of the season on Saturday, has now set his sight on the top scorer award.
Shabana's Brian Michira has set his sights on becoming the top scorer in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) after scoring his first goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Kariobangi Sharks.

Reflecting on his performance, Michira shared his aspirations of being the the league's top scorer come the end of the season.
“I always aspire to help the team with goals. Last season, I was the team’s top scorer, so I feel the responsibility to step up and deliver," expressed Michira
His ambitions are high, with Michira determined to reach the top of the scoring charts this season.
"It is my mission and ambition to be this season's top scorer and I'm working hard for it. I believe if I push myself and dedicate myself, anything is possible," he added.
Currently, Francis Kahiro of KCB FC leads with five goals, followed by Ally Salum of Kariobangi Sharks with four, while Michira’s teammate, Mathew Tegisi, has three.
Acknowledging Shabana's challenging start to the season, Michira remains optimistic about the team's ability to turn things around.
“Our fans have stuck with us through tough times, and we hope to make them happy with positive results soon," said Michira, as he encouraged fans to continue their unwavering support while they search for their first win.
