“I am very ready and here to win,” a beaming Musa said during his unveiling.
Musa will add bite to Gor Mahia’s attack as K’Ogalo seek to maintain their hot streak and defend their title while his arrival will also increase competition among the club’s forwards.
The youngster agreed to join Gor Mahia after rejecting overtures from Bandari FC and Kenya Police, following his great display at Bidco United.
Musa lasted less than six months at Bidco who he joined from Kariobangi Sharks at the start of this season and his club were helpless when it emerged that the three top clubs were interested in his signature.
It has been reported that Gor Mahia beat their rivals after offering Musa a bigger singing-on fee. Bandari are said to have offered him a signing-on fee of Ksh500,000 plus a salary of Ksh120,000 per month but he turned them down for Gor Mahia, who reportedly offered Ksh1 million in signing-on fee.
Known for his exceptional speed and agility on the field, Musa initially made a name for himself while playing for Soy United before his remarkable abilities caught the attention of Kariobangi Sharks, leading to his signing with the club in 2022.
