There were a total of 23 goals scored as the 2022/23 CAF Champions group stages crossed the halfway turn around the continent.
Raja Casablanca and Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their unbeaten run to confirm passage into the quarterfinals.
Casablanca’s 3-1 victory away to Horoya in Bamako meant the Moroccans remained the only side with an unbeaten record. A brace from Walid Sabbar and a goal for Mohammed Mahiri were enough to complete the job.
The duo made it to the team of the week.
Zambian forward Clatous Chama who scored the only goal as Simba downed Vipers in Dar Es Salaam forms part of the midfield as his teammate Shomari Kapombe becomes the only player named in the team without a goal to his name.
