What Lobotka said
In an interview with the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport in which he discussed his future, the Slovakia international revealed his desired move. “I’ve been following Barcelona since I was a child. I would like to play in a top club.”
However, he ensured to add that he was currently happy at Naples. “Now, I’m in Naples, happy to be there, I have a contract and an ‘Italian family’.
Lobotka is a player liked by Barcelona, with former manager Xavi Hernandez singling him out for praise during the Champions League round of 16 clash against Napoli. The player's agent has also suggested that there is an agreement in principle with the Blaugrana.
However, Napoli will unlikely let him leave this summer, as new manager Antonio Conte named the Slovak as one of their non-transferables.
