In a bid to spice up the game, Bright Stars have taken a dig at KCCA FC in a tweet shared on their official handle, reminding them of the two wins they've picked up and how they plan to wrap it up in style.
"Soltilo Bright Stars: the reigning champions of raining on KCCA FC's parade! If beating them twice was a warm-up, get ready for the grand finale, Dance routine." The tweet read.
The 2019 Uganda Cup finalists picked up their first win against KCCA FC in November 2022 at Kavumba when Emmanuel Loki scored the game's only goal in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Next up was dumping Morley Byekwaso's charges out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup in the Quarterfinals with a 1-0 win courtesy of Nurudin Bunjo's strike; Morley went on to resign from his coaching role at the club.
Bright Stars sit ninth on the log with 35 points, and a win for them would propel them to 38 points into 7th position if Wakiso Giants and BUL FC fail to win their respective games.
For Jackson Mayanja, KCCA FC mathematically remain in contention to win the league but come third in pecking order with SC Villa and Vipers closer to the title battle on Saturday.
