Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are reportedly set to make sweeping changes to Manchester United ahead of the new season.

Manchester United attacking coach Benni McCarthy is reportedly close to leaving the club as Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS make big changes to rebuild the team.

Big changes were anticipated both on and off the field after Ratcliffe acquired a 25 percent stake and full control of the sports side of the club in February.

It's almost certain that Omar Berrada, Dan Ashworth, and Jason Wilcox will take up roles as United's new chief executive, sporting director, and technical director, respectively.

Benni McCarthy to leave Manchester United

On the playing side, manager Erik ten Hag is under huge pressure, and there have been reports that failure to make Champions League football and a trophyless campaign could see the Dutchman handing the sack.

There will be casualties too, and Daily Express reports that South African legend Benni McCarthy, who has been serving as attacking coach under Ten Hag will be shown the door imminently.

The report further states that the former Champions League winner, whose contract is up this summer has not been approached about a new deal and is unlikely to remain at Old Trafford much longer.
