Bukedea Comprehensive has won the bid to host the 2024 Federation of East Africa Secondary School Association games.
The school owned by the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among Magogo outcompeted a joint bid from Jinja SSS and Jinja College and another from Namilyango.
The decision was made on Friday after an executive committee meeting sat to analyse the bids that were submitted.

The organisers Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association, announced Uganda as the host of the 2024 East Africa Schools games.
“The hosts for the National and FEASSSA Games 2024 are confirmed. The decisions have been taken during the pre-AGM EXCO meeting that convened today at our offices - GNS Hotel, Old Kampala,” USSSA announced.
The meeting was chaired by USSSA and FEASSSA President Justus Mugisha

The Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association awarded the 2024 edition to Uganda after the conclusion of this year's tournament in Rwanda.
Should the two fail, Namilyango College has been put on standby as the second available option.
Masaka Secondary School has been selected to host the 2024 Football Boys Championship, while the Fresh Diary games will be at Ndejje Secondary School.
Jinja SSS and Jinja College will host the Elite Secondary Schools Championship.
