Ivorian Tety and fellow January signing Robert Serge Mwenge have been called upon for the mission to North Africa.

Forwards Yunus Ssentamu and Israel Desire Tety have been included in Vipers SC’s 18-man travelling squad for their CAF Champions League game.

Vipers travel to Morocco’s economic capital and business centre Casablanca for their Group C opener against Raja Casablanca at the Complex Mohammed V stadium.

Ssentamu has not played for the Venoms for eight weeks since hobbling off with a groin injury at the end of November in a league game against SC Villa.

Ivorian Tety and fellow January signing Robert Serge Mwenge have been called upon for the mission to North Africa.

Tety has impressed during the training session, but he will hope to quickly end his hunt for a first goal for the Venoms after failing to score against third division side Bujjumbura in the Uganda Cup.

Mwenge will be in line for his Vipers debut after missing out on the cup game against Hoima.

Martin Kizza has also made the travelling squad, but AbdulKarim Nduggwa is cup tied after featuring for BUL FC in the Confederation Cup.

Livingstone Mulondo has been thrown back into the squad after overcoming a fracture that saw him sit out for two months.

But Marvin Joseph Youngman and Najib Yiga remain unavailable as the duo only started their rehabilitation process from hamstring and ankle injuries last week.

Vipers will depart Entebbe International Airport in the wee hours of Wednesday morning aboard Turkish Airlines.

They will have a stopover in Istanbul, Turkey before departing for Casablanca.
