Police FC forward Ronald Ssempala has terminated his contract with the FUFA Big League club.

Pulse Sports Uganda understands that the striker has since been spotted training with URA FC ahead of a possible move to top-flight football.

Ssempala reportedly decided to end his stay with the Cops after receiving offers from several clubs, including SC Villa, NEC and URA FC.

The forward joined Police FC last year in the second round of the second-tier league on a two-year contract.

Before joining Police FC, Ssempala had been sidelined with a long-term injury while playing for Soltilo Bright Stars in 2020.

Police FC has since agreed to terms with former Arua Hill striker Isaac Ogwang, who is reportedly pending unveiling.

The Cops also recently relieved head coach Angelo Lonyesi and his entire backroom for falling short of guiding Police FC back to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and losing to Vipers SC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final.

Former Proline Football club coach Simon Peter Mugerwa is reportedly at the steering wheel of the Cops.
