Sturm Graz want to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo on loan.
The 21-year-old British-Nigerian goalkeeper is currently on loan at English League Two club Crewe Alexandra and has now been linked with a move to Austrian giants Sturm Graz.
Arthur Okonkwo to Sturm Graz
A publication focused on Arsenal Academy products reports that Sturm Graz wants to acquire Okonkwo on loan.
It is unconfirmed if Arthur Okonkwo's loan with the League Two club would be cut short in favour of a move to Austria's top flight.
The Arsenal under-21 footballer's loan with Crewe Alexandra is initially set to expire at the end of the season.
Okonkwo's career
The Hale End Academy graduate is currently having a good season for Crewe Alexandra.
Okonkwo has kept ten clean sheets in 26 appearances for the League Two side.
The London-born goalkeeper has represented England at the U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-18 levels.
He also played for Arsenal's U-18, U-21 and U-23 levels.
Okonkwo is officially an Arsenal first-team player, as he signed a senior contract with the club in July 2021.
Okonkwo made his debut for Arsenal in July 2021 in a 2-1 friendly loss against Hibernian.
He has yet to make an appearance in an official game for Arsenal. His current contract at Arsenal expires in the summer of 2024.
