The Tanzanian head of state has offered 5000 match day tickets for fans who will be able to attend the CAF Confederations Cup first leg final tie against USM Algiers on Sunday, 28th May, at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium.
As is the norm, whenever the two Tanzanian club giants in Simba or Young Africans have a massive game at home, President Samia Suluhu Hassan has set the pace with her latest offer for the green and yellow team.
The Tanzanian head of state has offered 5000 match day tickets for fans who will be able to attend the CAF Confederations Cup first leg final tie against USM Algiers on Sunday, 28th May, at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium.
"The president H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan has bought 5000 match day tickets for fans who will be attending the CAF Confederations Cup final first leg against USM Algiers," part of the statement read.
"The game will take place on 28th May 2023 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium," the statement added.
It's not the first time that Hassan Suluhu has supported Tanzanian club football, especially the two big clubs.
At the start of the interclub competitions, she promised Tsh 5M, approximately (Ugx 8M), for each goal either side scored in their respective matches.

In a communique shared on the Tanzanian Football Federation Twitter handle, the Tanzania Premier League Board revealed that match days 29 and 30 of the NBC Premier League, scheduled for May 24th and 28th, will now be played on June 6th and 9th, 2023 respectively.
'Tiimu ya Wanainchi', who have already retained the league title, are also in the final of the domestic cup after they edged Singida Big Stars 1-0 courtesy of a Fiston Mayele strike on Sunday.
The two-legged CAF Confederations Cup final will see Nabi Nasreddine's charges play USM Algiers on 28th May before facing the Algerian side in the return leg five days later.
