Fulham stars Iwobi and Bassey took to Snapchat to share a video capturing the moment Osimhen squared up with Fenerbahce substitute Mert Muldur.

The altercation erupted shortly after Milan Skriniar, another Fenerbahce defender, elbowed the Nigerian striker in the face, an act that appeared to ignite Osimhen’s fury.

In the clip posted on X, Bassey can be seen replaying the scene, grinning with pride as he declared, “Don’t play with my boy,” before letting out an enthusiastic shout of “Osimhen!” while nodding in approval.

The bond between the Super Eagles stars was palpable, reflecting their admiration for Osimhen’s fearless presence on the pitch.

Victor Osimhen was a handful for Fenerbahce's defenders.

The confrontation added yet another layer of intensity to the already explosive Galatasaray-Fenerbahce rivalry, which reached boiling point during this Turkish Cup quarterfinal.

Osimhen, unfazed by the physicality, went on to score twice in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win, sealing Fenerbahce’s fate and sending Mourinho into a post-match tirade that has only fueled the ongoing feud between the clubs.

The clash with Muldur, sparked by a taunting remark after Skriniar’s foul, required teammates and the referee to intervene, highlighting the high stakes and raw emotion of the encounter.

The post on Snapchat has highlighted the ongoing tension, with fans and analysts noting Osimhen’s central role in rattling Fenerbahce’s defense and their tempers.

Osimhen’s exceptional form this season has made him a linchpin in Galatasaray’s title push in the Turkish Super Lig, where he’s scored 20 goals in 23 appearances.

His fiery interactions, like the one with Muldur, have become as much a hallmark of his game as his clinical finishing, endearing him to Galatasaray supporters and his Nigerian teammates.

For Iwobi and Bassey, both Premier League regulars with Fulham, Osimhen’s tenacity is a source of pride, a sentiment they didn’t hesitate to share with the world.
