Former Arsenal and Super Eagles forward Nwankwo Kanu and NPFL side Enyimba FC visited hospitals and motherless homes to spread love & kindness through their foundation.

In a gesture of goodwill and community service, the management, staff, and players of Enyimba FC, led by Super Eagles legend and club chairman Nwankwo Kanu, embarked on a charity visit to the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital and Motherless Babies Home in Umuahia.

This outreach was facilitated by the Enyimba FC Foundation, the NPFL giants' charitable arm in a bid to put smiles on the faces of the needy.

Despite their current challenges in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Enyimba FC took a moment to focus on giving back to their community.

The visit aimed to bring joy and support to those in need, reflecting the club's commitment to spreading love and kindness beyond the football pitch.

Enyimba expressed their pride in this initiative, stating on their social media platforms;

"We're proud to give back to our community and bring joy to those in need!"

This act of kindness not only uplifts the spirits of the hospital and home residents but also reinforces Enyimba's role as a positive force in their community.

Meanwhile, the People’s Elephant will this weekend return to the NPFL where they will look to continue their late push for a top-half finish.

Enyimba returned to winning ways last time out after a rare away win, a narrow 1-0 win against Niger Tornadoes.

Joseph Atule was the hero for the Elephants as he netted the decisive winner to seal the win and all three points.
