Despite being found guilty and sentenced to one year in a Danish prison for allegedly sexually assaulting three women, Akinkunmi Amoo has resumed social media activity.
The 21-year-old was found guilty of all allegations that were recently presented against him, the same ones for which he was detained in September 2022 and is said to be appealing the verdict.
The Copenhagen winger has since posted on his social media account but not in relation to the big news surrounding him, instead giving updates on his fitness situation.

Amoo tweeted out via his official Twitter handle @OfficialAmoo updating his 6000+ followers on his fitness journey with his first tweet since August 2022.
The tweet was put out by exactly 11:18 am on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 and featured a picture of Amoo with the Copenhagen medical staff as well as a video of the player himself.
The tweet was captioned "I met with the medical team of Copenhagen this morning to access my leg with a possible return date from the injury I suffered last year. The medical team gave positive feedback. I want to appreciate my friends and family for their wishes and support during my recovery period."
Amoo has since deleted the tweet but has not stayed off social media yet as his page is full of retweets of stories debunking his jail allegations.
Pulse Sports understands that Akinkunmi's brother has come out to debunk reports that the Copenhagen star is in jail, instead reiterating that the ruling will be appealed.
