With the 2023 AFCON only a few months away, Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi has found his scoring boots at the right time
Nigerian striker Terem Moffi scored his first goal in eight matches for Ligue 1 side Nice to help them to all three points in a 1-0 win against Toulouse.
Moffi leads Nice to victory
Nice are looking to push holders Paris Saint-Germain for the Ligue 1 title this season and the win over strugglers Toulouse helped them stay within a point of the current league-leaders.
Key to the win was Super Eagles striker, Moffi, who scored the winning goal with an assured finish early in the second half to secure maximum points for his side.
Moffi ended a personal lull as he scored his first goal for Nice since September, when he scored a brace against PSG.
With the 2023 AFCON just days away, Moffi will be delighted to have found his scoring boots once again, especially considering the fight for places in the Super Eagles’ attack.
