Willy Boly doubled Manchester United's woes two minutes later, cursing the evening to become even gloomier for the home crowd.
Erik ten Hag's troops rallied themselves, however, and thanks to a first-half Christian Eriksen strike and the goals by Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in the second-half, they completed a comeback.

What Waldrum said about the match
The rollercoaster nature of the game seems to have had an effect on the University of Pittsburgh Panthers women's football team coach, who tweeted his reaction to the game.
Waldrum is likely a Manchester United fan, and after Bruno Fernandes' penalty strike in the 76th minute of the match, he tweeted in celebration.
During the game, Waldrum also put out a tweet saying, "Think I need a wellness check on myself... @ManUtd.”
