Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi has said the team is fully prepared for their battle against England in the last-16.
Onome Ebi has spoken of a strong mindset ahead of Nigeria's clash with England.
The Super Falcons are unbeaten so far, with one win and two draws, and there is a belief coursing through the squad that they can cause an upset despite being massive underdogs.
Ebi believes the Falcons are ready for England
In a video posted on the Nigerian Football Federation's official Twitter account, Ebi alluded to a strong mentality flowing through the group.
“I feel gingered, I feel strong, I feel ready. We prepared for this all year,” Ebi said.
"It’s just like the World Cup just started for us. Whatever we won, that one has passed; this is the beginning of the real World Cup, and we are ready. The team is gingered; the team is positive.”
Kickoff for the last-16 blockbuster clash between the Super Falcons and England's Lionesses is 8;30am Nigerian time.
