For the first time since receiving an eight-month football suspension, Ivan Toney was spotted working out personally.

The Brentford star has been banned from football until next January after being found guilty of a betting breach.

The 27-year-old is scheduled to play football again on January 16, 2024, after serving his suspension.

However, he has been seen recently doing some personal training and shared some photos with a caption on social media.

Toney is still unable to train with his team but he is back out training to maintain his fitness for when his suspension ends.

However, beginning on September 17, he will be free to rejoin his teammates at Brentford for training.

According to reports from the Sun, he is currently working out alone and has posted some pictures of his dedication to his Instagram page.

The Brentford forward also added a cryptic comment alongside the photos of his training on Instagram.

Toney is seen being put through his paces in the pictures during what appears to be rigorous training.

He captioned the pictures as follows, “I didn’t come this far to only come this far.”

Some have speculated that the caption may be a hint that the striker is leaving Brentford, as there are rumours of interested parties.

Toney just hired a new agent and has been linked to moves to Arsenal, Man United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

According to reports, Brentford would demand almost £80 million for their outstanding player during the January transfer window.
