The Tanzanian FA has maintained that Toto is still Yanga player.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Legal, Ethics and Player Status Committee has maintained its earlier ruling that Feisal Salum Abdallah alias Fei Toto remains a Yanga SC player.
The 25-year-old midfielder had opted to terminate his contract with Yanga in December 2022 after submitting his signing fee and three-month salary as per the contract clause signed with the club.

Three months after filing the review, TFF released a statement on Friday reiterating that Toto remains a Yanga player, and his contract runs until the end of 2024.
“The Legal, Ethics and Player Status Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), in its meeting on May 4, 2023, among other things, also listened to player Feisal Salum who submitted a complaint wanting to break his contract with the Young Africans Club through his letter on March 6, 2023,” reads a statement signed by TFF Communications Officer Clifford Ndimbo.
"Previously, the Committee on Laws and Status of Players heard the complaint in written form. All parties (Young Africans SC and Feisal Salum) were represented by their lawyers, who were also given additional time to clarify what they presented in their written summaries.
"After reviewing and considering in detail all the parties' arguments, the Committee has rejected the request because it has decided on the validity of the contract between the player and his club.”
