Former Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche has been fired by the Tanzanian Football Federation after being slapped with a ban by the Confederation of African Football.
The Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF) has announced the sacking of Taifa Stars head coach Adel Amrouche following his ban by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The federation made an announcement on Friday evening on their social media pages in an official press statement that was signed by their Communications officer Clifford Mario Ndimbo.
The former Harambee Stars head coach was earlier in the week quoted to have made jarring accusations to Morocco a few days ahead of their clash with the World Cup semifinalists. This led to CAF banning the tactician from eight matches.

Amrouche accused Moroccan Football Federation (FMRF) of “foul play in choosing referees and manipulating match schedules.” This came after he claimed they forced their match to be played in the evening.
The Tanzanian federation announced that Amrouche will be replaced by Hemed Morocco who will take over the team to be assisted by Juma Mgunda.
In their match against Morocco on Wednesday, Taifa Stars were handed a 3-0 defeat. This was their opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations Group F match in Ivory Coast. They are gearing up to face off against Zambia on Sunday.
