The League is in its fourth season, featuring strong competition from young stars who are expected to make the nation proud in the years to come.

The Creative Championship League (TCC League) is one of the Private Football League in the country that has given children and teens an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills; and many future stars have been discovered.

In the league, several young players have been exported to professional football clubs within and outside the country.

History of TCC League

The Creative Championship (TCC) was established in 2020 to raise the level of professionalism in Nigerian club football, by providing a platform for teams with like minds to thrive.

Beyond Limits have won the TCC League for the third time in a row.

It is a private league managed by the participating member clubs.

The first season of the league featured eight privately-owned clubs in Lagos and Ogun states, with games played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos; the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

Its second season featured ten teams following a mini expansion, with Broad City, Atlantic Business, and Dannaz joining the league and games were played at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos, and the other centres in Ikenne, and Ijebu Ode.

Any father-and-son rivalry in the annals of Nigerian football would require a thorough investigation of the archives. The Aiyenugbas accomplished that when they lined up for their clubs (Kwara United and Beyond Limits) at the just concluded Valuejet Pre-season competition in Ikenne, Ogun State.

In the third season, Sporting Lagos joined the league to take the number of participating clubs to ten.

Currently, there are 12 teams in the league, namely; Beyond Limits, Gbagada, Broad City, Valiant FC, Imperial FC, Dino SC, Atlantic Business, Dannaz, Iganmu FC, Sporting Lagos Academy, and the latest members - Real Sapphire and Escola United.

Talents Exported outside and within the country

Since its inception, TCC League has produced talents that have moved their football sojourn outside the country while some have been instrumental in the Nigerian elite league, the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro
Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has joined the likes of Obafemi Martins and Joel Obi as Nigerians that have lifted the Coppa Italia trophy.

Some of the players that have left the shores of the country include;

1. Akansanmiro Ebenezer (Inter Milan)

Akansanmiro Ebenezer is one of the players to have earned a big move from the League to join Inter Milan junior team. He moved from three-time champions of the League, Beyond Limits to the serie A side.

The 18-year-old won Coppa Italia in his new club and contributed to Inter Milan’s victory in the Coppa Italia this season.

Akinsanmiro’s journey serves as an inspiration for young footballers at Remo Stars, showcasing the potential and opportunities that hard work and dedication gives.

2. Tunde Akinsola (Real Valladolid)

From Imota in Lagos to Spain, Valiant product Tunde Akinsola joined La Liga Side Real Valladolid.

The former U-17 international winger made his LaLiga debut for Real Valladolid in their 3-nil home defeat to Sevilla.

3. David Abayomi, Abdulrahmon

Teslim Olaitan, and Olasunkanmi Abdulwaheed Dayo (Fukuchiyama Seibi) Japan

Iganmu Tiger FC, trio Adeola David Abayomi, Abdulrahmon Teslim Olaitan, and Olasunkanmi Abdulwaheed Dayo joined Japanese clubside Fukuchiyama Seibi.

The teenage stars' brilliant performance last season in the TCC championship won them elite scholarship program to continue their development and boost their promising careers in Japan.

4. Stanley Joseph (Remo Stars)

In matchday two of the NPFL, Stanley Joseph was the talking point for his excellent performance for Remo Stars against Rangers at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The young lad was promoted from Beyond Limits and played the 90 minutes in his NPFL debut.

5. Afolayan Peters (Heartland)

From Dino Sporting in Ijebu Ode, Peters is another player produced by TCC to continue his journey in Nigeria's elite league with Heartland of Owerri.

These are just few players that TCC League have produced and it is expected that many more will join this list in the years to come.
