Kakamega Homeboyz climbed into the seventh spot on the FKF Premier League table courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars at the Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Abana Abeingo went into the game on the back of two consecutive draws in the league, having been held 1-1 by Talanta and 0-0 by AFC Leopards.
Kakamega Homeboyz saw plenty of the ball in the opening 45 minutes and had the first sniff at goal when Hillary Otieno steered a shot wide of the left post on 12 minutes after getting on the end of Glen Otunga's cross.
