Hazard picks Messi for Ballon d'or
Ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid playmaker Eden Hazard has spoken out on the deserved winner of the award.
Speaking to Telefoot, the former Belgium captain said:
“The Ballon d’Or? It would be illogical not to give it to Messi, the best player in the sport's history, a year where he wins the World Cup, he said.
“Who won the World Cup? This is often how things happen. Besides, Messi played a very important role in the victory, so I think Leo will win the Ballon d'Or."
