Football The Clause In Kasinde’s Move To NEC

Former Bright Stars winger Ibrahim Kasinde has joined NEC on a one-year contract as a free agent.

However, the 21-year-old could once again be on the move sooner or later if what his representatives are planning materialises.

Kasinde is managed by Prosper Sports Agency who have inserted an immediate release clause in the youngster’s contract with the Bugoloobi-based club.

Pulse Sport exclusively understands that the agency is working around the clock to ensure that the player moves abroad and they are doing it with NEC in knowledge.

He has been without a club since the 2022/23 campaign when he last played for the Kavumba-based outfit.

During his three years stay with the Stars, he scored seven goals and was also part of the Uganda Hippos team in the 2023 U20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tournament in Sudan.

He is a product of the Masaza Cup and the University Football League (UFL).

Ssingo, Gomba, and Busunju are the Masaza teams he played for previously while he played for Kampala University (KU) in the UFL.

His move to NEC is pending confirmation from the club. Mbarara City is the other team has featured for in the topflight previously besides Bright Stars.
