Now 27 years, Ssentamu has garnered four Uganda Premier League championships for Vipers, a truly enormous feat.
Vipers SC combative midfielder Siraje Ssentamu hit a huge 200 appearances for the club as they defended their Uganda Premier League title on Saturday.
The Venoms put five past Busoga United in their final league game of the season, one that had them make six league titles in history.
Ssentamu, was yet again a stronghold in the team's charge to the title, this time as the deputy skipper to winger Milton Karisa.
Now 27 years, Ssentamu has garnered four Uganda Premier League championships for Vipers, a truly enormous feat.
He won the 2014/15 title with the Kitende side in his first spell with the club, before exiting for URA FC, where he spent two seasons (2017-2019).
On his return to the St Mary's Stadium, Ssentamu won the 2019/20 league title and repeated the same two years later, in the 2021/22 campaign, before defending it this year.
Ssentamu also won the FUFA Super Cup with Vipers in 2015, after beating SC Villa 5-3 on penalties.
The Uganda Cranes midfielder has also accumulated two Uganda Cups in the 2015/16 and 2021 seasons, with the latter under Brazilian Roberto Oliviera alias Robertinho.
He can wrap a third Uganda Cup in the current campaign, as the team is a step into the final, after making light work of Soltilo Bright Stars FC in the semi-final first leg 4-0, over a week ago.
With the second leg slated for Tuesday, the team will hope to make it through to the final, where they will take on Police FC at the Akii-Bua Memorial Stadium in Lira.
