Three players will miss the StarTimes Uganda Premier League this week when the action returns.

The league had taken a two-week break during the international break to allow the Uganda Cranes to take part in two friendly matches.

The national team’s interim manager Morley Byekwaso called 14 out of 24 players to his squad from the Uganda Premier League.

The league resumes on Thursday 19th October with Busoga United hosting Mbarara City in Njeru as another Jinja side Gaddafi FC, travel to Adjumani to face Arua Hill.

The games will continue on Friday 20th, with four fixtures as KCCA travels to Masindi to face Kitara, NEC host their mother body UPDF at Lugogo and BUL hosts Maroons in Njeru.

About three players will miss that day, as announced by the league, due to indiscipline cases.

KCCA’s Congolese import Tshishungu Kakonde will complete his eight-match ban that was slapped last season.

BUL and Maroons will miss Ben Tahomera and Darius Ojok, who are serving suspensions due to cards.
