Ronaldo opened the scoring but could not save his team from losing to Al Hilal

Al Hilal dismantled Al Nassr 4-1, despite an early goal from Cristiano Ronaldo. The match, held at King Saud University Stadium, saw Al Hilal deliver a stunning second-half performance to claim the trophy.

Ronaldo opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the 22nd minute, finishing from close range after a clever cut-back.

However, Al Nassr's joy was short-lived. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic sparked a dramatic turnaround in the 55th minute with a powerful strike from inside the box, levelling the score for Al Hilal.

Aleksandar Mitrovic then took center stage, scoring twice in a span of six minutes. His first goal came via a commanding header in the 60th minute, followed by a sharp finish in the 66th minute, exploiting a disorganized Al Nassr defense.

The Serbian striker's contributions were crucial in turning the game decisively in Al Hilal's favor.

The final blow came in the 72nd minute when Brazilian forward Malcom Filipe capitalized on a critical error by Al Nassr goalkeeper Bento.

Malcom seized a miscontrolled back pass and slotted the ball into an empty net, sealing a 4-1 victory for Al Hilal.

Mitrovic's brace was instrumental in securing the Super Cup, overshadowing Ronaldo’s early goal and exposing Al Nassr’s defensive frailties.

With the defeat, Al Nassr’s trophy aspirations in Saudi Arabia remain unfulfilled, while Al Hilal prepares to carry their momentum into their next league fixture against Al Akhdoud.
