One of Enzo Maresca’s in-form players has commended the enabling atmosphere at Chelsea.
Jadon Sancho has shown appreciation for the environment at Chelsea, following his heroics in the Blues’ 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Tottenham vs Chelsea
Enzo Maresca’s men staged a stunning comeback victory against Spurs, overcoming a two-goal deficit to secure a thrilling win in a pulsating London derby.
Despite conceding early goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski, the West Londoners remained composed and quickly responded through Sancho's impressive long-range strike.
They continued to press for an equaliser, with Fraser Forster denying Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto.
Chelsea's persistence paid off in the second half, with Palmer converting a penalty to level the score and Enzo Fernandez completing the turnaround with a well-taken goal.
The playmaker added another penalty, this time with a cheeky Panenka finish, to seal a memorable victory for the Blues.
Tottenham managed a late consolation goal from Son Heung-Min, but it did little to dampen Chelsea's celebrations.
