The four-time league champions have won back-to-back league games against Onduparaka FC and Express FC, and Timbe says he only hopes the consistency stays.

URA FC head coach Sam Timbe knows how hard it is to get a team back to winning ways, especially with what happened to his side in the first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Then, the Tax Collectors managed only two wins, eight draws and as many losses, which left them out of the top eight but with the January reinforcements, URA FC seem to be hitting the right notes.

The four-time league champions have won back-to-back league games against Onduparaka FC and Express FC, and Timbe says he only hopes the consistency stays.

“To get the team back to winning ways hasn’t been easy, and I want to thank my players for the collective effort and fight they put up during our win against Express FC,” he noted.

“I encourage them to emulate the same spirit in the next games," Timbe added.

Fast and robust winger Joseph Ssemujju who joined URA FC in January, has proved pivotal for the team, scoring twice on his debut in the 2-0 win over Onduparaka FC.

The Tax Collectors, who now sit 9th on the log with 20 points, next face BUL FC on March 4, and will be targeting to earn a third straight league win.

Pulse Sports also reliably understands that URA FC is set to return to the Lugazi Mehta stadium, where they will play all their remaining home games after six years away.

The tax collectors have been using Nakisunga grounds and most recently the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
