Head coach Sam Timbe has rallied his charges to keep the consistency if they want to challenge for the title, starting with the Maroons FC game on Saturday.

Four-time league champions URA FC will return to league action on Saturday when they host Maroons FC at the Mehta stadium.

Head coach Sam Timbe has rallied his charges to keep the consistency if they want to challenge for the title, starting with the Maroons FC game on Saturday.

“All the remaining games are important, but we can only win our games to compete with the teams above us, the more reason we have to win against Maroons FC,” Timbe told club media.

However, Timbe was cautious about Maroons, who forced a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Luzira stadium.

“Maroons is a good side; we drew in the first leg, but also, they have been doing well, so we have to work hard to win,” The veteran tactician added.

Winger Nicholas Kabonge was also on hand to explain the importance of winning against Maroons FC.

“The teamwork and good coordination we’ve had have enabled us to come this far, and we are hopeful it comes into play against Maroons because we have to win.”

URA FC is unbeaten in their last five league outings, managing three wins and as many draws.

Left-back Erick Ssenjobe and midfielder Saidi Kyeyune have returned from injury and are available.
