URA FC were dented by the inability to turn their first-half dominance into goals. They eventually drew 0-0 with Arua Hill SC at the Barifa Stadium in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Sunday.
Kabon Living hit the post in the 14th minute, while he was also denied by Rogers Omedwa on another occasion in the first stanza, leaving head coach Sam Timbe frustrated.
"We started the game well and got several opportunities," Timbe told the club media after the stalemate.
"Maybe if we had taken the chances, the game could have turned out differently," the tactician lamented.
"The team really tried, but all I can say again, if we had converted the chances we got in the first half, probably we could have had a win,” he added.
The result ensured the Tax Collectors hit 30 points in fifth after 21 games, and Timbe feels the team will build on it for better shows.
"The point away is important, especially when you look at the latter stages of the game where the players really fought and defended hard."
Arua Hill, on the other hand, are now seventh with 27 points after only 19 matches.
While the Kongolo will play leaders SC Villa at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, on April 19, URA will host runners-up KCCA FC at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.
