The 22-year-old, said to be undergoing a medical at Ipswich ahead of the proposed move, has been training separately from Chelsea's first team since returning from their pre-season tour of the United States earlier this month.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Albanian forward could leave next summer for a buy clause valued at around £30 million, with the permanent transfer subject to the Tractor Boys avoiding relegation from the Premier League.
Broja’s Chelsea career
Broja, who joined Chelsea's academy from Tottenham Hotspur in 2009, has loan experience at Vitesse, Southampton, and Fulham. His contract with Chelsea runs until 2028, and he made his senior debut for the club in 2020.
He suffered a serious knee injury in December 2022, which sidelined him for several months. The forward joined Fulham on loan in January but struggled for regular playing time, making just eight appearances before returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
