Tusker have officially announced the departure of 11 first team players from the team following the expiry of their contracts, including four Harambee Stars players.
12-time FKFPL champions Tusker have announced more departures to their playing unit, with upto 11 first-team players leaving the club following the expiry of their contracts.
Eric Kapaito, Daniel Sakari, Brian Bwire, Eric Zakayo, Stewart Omondi, Collins Otieno, Jimmy Mbugua, Eugene Asike, Boniface Onyango, Eric Otieno and Ibrahim Joshua have now left the club to venture on to greener pastures as the club shakes up both its playing and technical staff for a new journey.
Kapaito joined the club on a one year contract but is now set to move abroad to Tanzania, as is Brian Bwire, who is set to join Polokwane United.

Robert Matano leaves Tusker FC after six-year second stint
Matano has left Tusker after months of indifferences with the club's management, with the writing being on the wall for quite some time now.
Daniel Sakari and Eric Zakayo are in talks to join Kenya Police, while the future remains uncertain for the other players.
The official announcement comes a day after long-standing head coach Robert Matano would be leaving the club after the expiry of his contract and indifferences with the club’s management, led by Charles Gacheru.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of these players for their dedication, hard work, and contributions to the club,” a statement released by the club said.
“Their efforts have been integral to our achievements and their commitment to the club will always be appreciated.

It remains to be seen how the club will reassemble itself during the pre-season as they attempt to have a better season than they did last year.
