Tusker attacking midfielder John Njuguna has expressed relief at scoring his first goal of the season for Tusker after scoring the fifth goal of their 5-0 rout of KCB on Sunday.
Njuguna combined well with fellow substitute Ibrahim Joshua before unleashing a ferocious shot into the back of the net to complete a good day for the Alemen.
Speaking to the club’s media channel following their win, Njuguna, a youth product of the Ruaraka-based outfit, expressed his delight at having been able to finally find his scoring touch back.

Matano’s men completely obliterated the Bankers 5-0 and he believes that his team has the capability to go all the way and win the title.
“I have been looking for that goal but have to embrace a lot of patience knowing it would eventually come,” Njuguna said.
“I was however wondering if I would get to score so I thank God it finally happened.”
Njuguna believes that his maiden goal of the season will allow him to build from there if he is to achieve his personal and long term objectives as a player at the club.

Njuguna returned to the club in 2021 from Ulinzi Stars, having been part of the Youth team in 2016 and 2017 and penned a two-year contract to return to the Ruaraka-based club.
