Aztek Academy head coach Yosia Kide believes the U14 Futsal tournament is a blessing to the girls and a steady pathway to go professional.
Kide has every reason to believe, especially since his side is currently top of the girls' standings after match day two with a 100% record after four games played.
"This tournament is a blessing to the girls, I am impressed with how they have played because they have trained so hard, and the results are proof of that", Kide told Pulse Sports.
"This tournament has been eye-opening for everyone involved as the girls are receiving a platform which can enable them to get scouted and go professional in the future," he added.
Despite Aztek being top of the table, Kide insists that his side can get even better as they look to improve on matchday three.
"There are elements we can improve on, like controlling the ball in certain areas of the pitch, and I believe we can always get better," Yosia adds.
Matchday three concludes on Friday, 26th May 2023, with the Azteks hoping to finish the group stages with a perfect record and qualify for the knockout stages.
