The Italian manager claimed yet another continental title after Los Blancos triumphed over BVB.

Carlo Ancelotti, on Saturday, claimed a fifth Champions League crown after Real Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley Stadium.

Real Madrid claim 15th European Cup

BVB began the final on top and could have opened the scoring after fashioning several chances, only to be let down by wayward finishing by Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt or outstanding goalkeeping from Thibaut Courtois

Los Blancos’ level improved after the interlude, and they ultimately notched two goals from Daniel Carvajal and Vinicius Junior

The success means the LaLiga giants have notched a 15th European title, extending their lead atop the winners’ ranking to eight, with AC Milan (seven titles) trailing the Spanish giants.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Champions League success

Saturday’s win over Dortmund handed Ancelotti his fifth title as manager, a tally outdoing everyone else as head coach.

Ancelotti claimed two Champions League successes at AC Milan in 2003 and 2007 before notching three more at Real Madrid over two spells in 2014, 2022 and 2024, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest managers in the sport's history and possibly the greatest in the competition.

Real Madrid are now unbeaten in European Cup finals since 1981.
