Uganda will play their final 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger in North Africa, at the Marrakech Stadium in Morocco.

This is because hosts Niger don't have a CAF approved stadium for the continental qualifications, hence the decision.

Niger has hosted their previous qualification matches against Tanzania and Algeria in Benin and Tunisia, respectively.

"The team will assemble in Marrakech, Morocco on September 3rd and 4th. There will be three training sessions on the 4th, 5th and 6th of September," said Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic.

Just like Niger, Uganda has also for similar reasons, hosted all their three qualification matches away from home.

It should be noted that Uganda Cranes is third in Group F on four points and victory against Niger coupled by a defeat for Tanzania (seven points) against Algeria will be enough for Uganda to qualify.
