CECAFA U18 W Khalifa not impressed with performance despite Uganda’s huge win over Zanzibar
Uganda dominated the matchday two affair but failed to break Zanzibar’s backline for an hour before Brenda Munyana pulled through to break the deadlock in the 63rd minute
Uganda’s head coach Ayub Khalifa has tasked his girls to complete the job on Tuesday in order to carry an advantage over Tanzania going into the final game.
“We have so far played two matches which we have won but are in a very tricky tournament where every match is like a final,” Khalifa noted in his pre-match briefing.
“Therefore,” he added, “we hae prepared well not only to win but to score many goals as well so that when we play the last game against Tanzania, we’ll be in a better position.”
In the other match to kickstart the game, Ethiopia will attempt to play catch-up as they face Zanzibar at 3 pm inside the Azam Complex in Dar Es Salaam.
