Uganda Martyrs currently has no player in the Crested Cranes team after Nakaziro and Nakigozi joined Kampala Queens.

Kampala Queens occupies the largest chunk of national team players at different levels, than any local team.

The fact could be seen as an advantage, as players get to play together and gel, a thing they can replicate at the national team.

However, Uganda Martyrs' head coach Edward Kasozi does not buy the notion that one team has to occupy almost all the space at the national team.

"At the footballing side, it may reach a time when this affects the national team," stated the tactician in an interview with Pulse Sports.

"The players are likely to lack the right challenge because they're together. That way, they don't get the right challenge from the opponents."

"There is also less playing time among them because they're too many there," Kasozi continued to caution.

"Women's football is just developing in the country, and so playing time is vital. It's best if these players are distributed in different teams."

Kampala Queens' possession of stars has in turn brought the kind of desired results, as they currently occupy the Super League summit with 30 points, 11 ahead of current runners-up Uganda Martyrs.

Hasifah Nassuna, Shamirah Nalugya, Sumaya Komuntale, Daisy Nakaziro, Lillian Mutuzo, Lukia Namubiru, Zaina Nandede, Elizabeth Nakigozi, and Margaret Kunihira are some of the many national team players at Kampala Queens.

You can also add Joan Nabirye to side after she joined the side from Kenyan Women's Premier League club Vihiga Queens FC.
