Uganda Cranes will host Algeria in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Japoma Stadium in Cameroon.
“Garvin Kizito got injured [but could be used] subject to [further] assessment,” Micho said.
Fatigue
The coach also revealed that several other players are suffering from minor knocks and fatigue but attributed it to the ending football league season.
“All sorts of players have some knocks around and, as you know, the end of the season is the hardest period of time for any national team coach because there’s a lot of mental and physical fatigue,” he added.
However, he remains optimistic that the team will be able to cover any gaps and deliver the results.
Uganda needs a win from the game to keep their hopes of qualifying for the Ivory Coast finals alive.
The team is tied with Tanzania on four points while Niger, who sits bottom of Group F, has two.
