Uganda National Senior Women's football team goalkeeper Vanessa Edith Karungi has joined Denmark outfit, FC Nordejælland.

"My role as a player is to make sure we play together as a team, push each other and win," said Karungi to ghe club upon her unveiling on Thursday.
"I am looking forward to meeting the girls such that I can know them and they also know me. I can't wait to get started."
She joins after departing another Danish outfit | 1893 where she has traded for the past two years.
Her development reflects a huge leap as she only in 2021, was a member of She Corporate Football Club.

Nordejælland plays in the Danish Superliga, winning its first medal in the 2002/03 season, taking third place.
