Rwandan side Rayon Sport, home to four Ugandan players in Simon Tamale, Charles Bbaale, Musa Esenu and Joackim Ojera, is set to face Libyan side Benghazi FC in the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round.
The Peace Cup winners, who got a bye in the first round, named their 22-man travelling squad, including the four Ugandan players, on Monday to face Benghazi in the first leg in Libya on Friday, September 15th.
The quartet recently led the blues to the Rwanda National Investment Trust, edging rivals Kiyovu FC 3-0, with Charles Bbaale sealing the deal with seven minutes to go.
Joakim Ojera has also been on form since his permanent switch to the Blues, having had a successful loan spell last season.
Goalkeeper Simon Tamale is yet to make an official appearance; however, his inclusion on the travelling contingent indicates he could be in line for his debut.
