Khalid Aucho - Young Africans
The assistant captain of the Uganda Cranes played for Young Africans on Saturday in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round.
They secured a commanding 2-0 lead. Aucho played the entire game and was involved in the build-up to the second goal, passing to Stephan Azizi Ki, who then assisted Clement Mzize.
The return leg will take place on September 30th in Dar-es-Salaam.
Gift Fred, a compatriot of Aucho, was part of the traveling squad but did not feature in the game.
Mugisha Rogers - Gor Mahia
Mugisha played for Gor Mahia in the Kenya Premier League on Saturday, where they achieved a 4-1 victory over Nairobi City Stars.
Godfrey Ochieng, Dennis Owalo, Benson Omalla, and Rooney Onyango were the scorers for Jonathan Mckinstry's side, securing their second win of the season.
Disan Galiwango - Kagera Sugar FC
Galiwango Disan, who recently joined Kagera Sugar FC in the Tanzanian Premier League, scored the winning goal for his team against Geita Gold FC, earning them their first win of the season.
Kagera Sugar FC also boasts other Ugandan players such as Hamis Diego Kiiza, Nicholas Kasozi, and Deus Bukenya.
Taddeo Lwanga - APR FC
Lwanga, who currently plays for APR FC, played the entire game as his team drew 0-0 against Egyptian team Pyramids FC in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round first leg at the Pele Kigali Stadium in Rwanda.
The return leg will take place on September 29th in Cairo, Egypt.
Ismael Watenga - Golden Arrows
Watenga picked up his second clean sheet in the PSL as he featured for his Golden Arrows side in their goalless draw against Stellenbosch.
