FKFPL Moses Adagala revels at Stephen Bulugu's performance against Kenya Police
Muhoroni Youth FC's Stephen Bulugu hailed as man of the match in a 1-1 draw against Kenya Police FC boosting survival hopes.
Kimani expressed his frustration over the team's failure to adhere to the strategic plan designed to counter Homeboyz's strengths.
"It was a difficult game, as we expected Homeboyz to come in full force since they are a good team. We had our chances but we never utilized them. We failed to defend, we lacked concentration and gave the opponent space in very dangerous areas, and we were punished," Kimani lamented.
The loss saw Ulinzi Stars drop to the 14th position on the league table, now dangerously close to the relegation zone, with only 26 points from 24 matches.

FOOTBALL Matano explains how Tusker nullified AFC Leopards to end their 10-match unbeaten run
Tusker coach Robert Matano has revealed the tactical plan behind his team’s victory against AFC Leopards which ended Ingwe’s unbeaten run in 2024.
On the other hand, Kakamega Homeboyz's victory propelled them to seventh place, highlighting the competitive nature of the league this season.
"Our players did not push hard for a win; we failed. We gave the opponent too much space, and we were punished, and that's what happened," he added.
Kimani pointed out that the team's lack of concentration and ineffective defense against Homeboyz's set pieces were the main reasons for the defeat.
Looking ahead, the Soldiers are set to face a challenging match against second-placed Bandari at the Ulinzi Stars Complex on April 6.
With the pressure mounting and the threat of relegation looming coach Kimani and his team will need to regroup and refocus their strategies if they hope to secure their place in the league and return to their winning ways.
