Four-time FKF Premier League champions Ulinzi Stars have announced the departure of head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani following a notably underwhelming season.
The Soldiers confirmed that the separation comes after the club's disappointing 12th-place finish in the most recent league standings.

Kimani, who took the reins from Bernard Mwalala at the onset of the 2023/2024 season, managed the team through 34 matches.

Reflecting on his stint with the team, Kimani shared a heartfelt message.
"This past season has been an incredible journey, filled with challenges and triumphs, and it has given us countless memories that I will forever cherish.
"Although my time here has been brief, the connections and experiences we've shared will always stay with me. I firmly believe in this team's potential and am confident that great things lie ahead for all of you," he wrote.
Despite his optimistic outlook, the club's performance this season marked a decline from the previous year, where they finished in ninth place.
