Players were shipped to training base but refused to dismebark.
Long-serving chairman Ambrose Rachier has on Monday 29th July told striking Gor Mahia players to pack and leave the club.
K’Ogalo players have refused to train for the last three days in agitation for a share of the FKF Premier League prize money as well as the team’s token from participation in CECAFA Club Championships in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where they were eliminated at the group stage.
The players were picked by club bus and ferried to their training ground but they all refused to disembark. The club chairman was then notified and he promptly called skipper Philemon Otieno who projected the call on loudspeaker for everyone to participate.

Analysis : Coach Leo Neiva's 'samba-style' vision for Gor Mahia as evidenced in CECAFA outing
Gor Mahia did not have a good campaign at the CECAFA Kagame Cup under new coach Leo Neiva, but is there light at the end of the tunnel with the coach looking to play Brazilian-esque 'samba style' football?
It is then that a livid Rachier scoffed at the players and told those who do not want to train to just leave and go back home.
A number of players then went to the gym but a majority of the playing unit remained unbothered in contempt of Rachier.
A source within the club intimated to Pulse Sports Kenya that the players are not likely to travel to Nigeria for the tournament they are scheduled to participate in.
“The players want a share of the winning bonus given to Gor Mahia after completing the 2023/2024 Football Kenya Federation Premier League. They are aware that FKF had remitted the money to the club.

Austin Odhiambo cagey over Gor Mahia future despite resuming training
Odhiambo has revealed his stance over his future at Gor Mahia as the side prepares to travel to Nigeria for Coal City International Cup.
"Additional funds have come from various sources but the club is tactically silent about any bonuses. The chairman addressed them but they want what they want and the stand off only means the team will not be at their best when they eventually go to Nigeria or when the CAF Champions League preliminary round starts,” said the source
The players’ salaries are up to date but the bonus for winning the league and allowances from CECAFA is the cause of current stand-off.
Gor Mahia is not new to such ugly incidences, some of which have played out in the full glare of the world as players showed their displeasure on match days.
