On the pitch, the seven time league champions are also enduring an indifferent campaign as they have failed to pick a single win in the past seven games.

UPDF FC will hope to take full advantage of Express FC's current miserable state when the two lock horns in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

The latter will play as hosts but are marred in internal woes. The past week has had reports of players not showing up for training as they seek payment of up to four months' arrears.

On the pitch, the seven time league champions are also enduring an indifferent campaign as they have failed to pick a single win in the past seven games.

They have lost four and drawn thrice in the process, leaving them tenth on the 15-team log with 17 points in 14 matches.

However, UPDF is also not having the best of campaigns as they have only won once in their past league 11 encounters.

They have lost seven times and managed three stalemates in that spell, leaving them 13th with 10 points in 14 games.

The two sides shared spoils - a one-all draw when they met in the first round. While Allan Kayiwa netted for Express, Rashid Faridi found the leveller for the Army side.

Meetings between the two have not witnessed either side have absolute dominance, as each has picked four victories apiece and three draws in the past 11 top-flight matches.
